My name is Nina James Braum-Bharti, I am a junior at Germantown Friends School and I was born in Hong Kong where I lived before moving to Singapore and then Philadelphia. I enjoy creative writing, journalism, community service, and cooking as well as playing the cello and piano.
FaceToFace, located in Philadelphia, distinguishes itself by providing not just meals but meaningful connections between volunteers and those in need. FaceToFace's mission centers on changing lives and fostering compassion in Philadelphia.
At Germantown Friends School, A Capella is a place for members to build confidence and skill with their peers in the group; it has become a sensation amongst the student body and continues to be a strong presence within the GFS community. But it means something much more to its members.
